A new Sentinel cadre has arrived in Val'sharah, led by Sentinel Commander Sathria Shadowhand. Shadowhand's unit has been tasked with the duty of securing Lightsong's defenses and restoring order and prosperity to the borderland village many of us call home.

At the end of Bael'asta, Commander Shadowhand dispatched a scout to investigate the progress of the Dreamweaver Lumber Harvest, which we helped to organize with the Duskwatch Saberguard during our last Council Glade at Rhut'van Peak in Azsuna. However, that scout has not reported back in some days.

Commander Shadowhand has requested our aid to locate the unaccounted scout. A copy of her missive is enclosed with this message. Those of you interested and able to lend your aid can expect to depart as early as the 8th of Curuhen.

In preparation for this mission, I will be organizing a terrain exercise in Azsuna where volunteers may test their skills in camouflage and navigating difficult ground. Volunteers interested in partaking of this exercise may join me tomorrow night in Lightsong.

Called the month of “Lingering Spirits”, Curuhen marks a spiritual time when the spirits of the forest cull life from the last tree and preserve it through winter. For most kaldorei, Curuhen is a time for farewell, when ancestors are remembered and preparations for winter are made.

In Curuhen, the Silver Circle's long investigation to find the missing Bradensbrook Refugees has drawn to a close, but the aftermath of what transpired at the Black Rook Hold is not yet done. A new Sentinel cadre has arrived to the forests of Val'sharah, and they have their eyes on Suramar... With the tenuous peace under threat, the Silversworn step in to assist.

[Update] Council Glade Variations
Beginning next month, at the start of the Winter season, we will be rolling out some minor changes to our Council Glade gatherings that will make them align more closely with each of the four paths. Council Glades held in the Winter months will be aligned with the Path of the Moon, Spring will be aligned with the Path of the Wild, Summer will be aligned with the Path of the Hunt, and Autumn will be aligned with the Path of War. This does not mean the meetings will be exclusive to each path, rather, as the seasons change, the Council Glade gatherings will be hosted by those respective path leaders and may carry additional elements related to those paths.

Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that spoilers remain confined to the #spoilers channel in our Discord server as new content unlocks and future content is datamined, as well as to exercise caution about spoiling content for others who don't want to see it yet, or wish to fully experience it themselves.

Path Updates 2021
While the path system is in the process of reconstruction we intent to install a temporary version of the new paths, with their new tasks, before the end of this month.

We are still in the process of working with an artist at Paizo to update our Path Trees, and the anticipated end date of the project is currently December 15, 2021. After the art is complete, the lengthy process of constructing the images for interactive HTML5 will be underway.

In the meantime, please keep an eye out for the installation of the new paths and their updated tasks, laws, and 'ranks'. If anyone has questions regarding the paths, please do not hesitate to reach out to the leader of that path, or contact another available officer.

On October 28, 2021 Activition Blizzard issued a press release in the form of a letter straight from the desk of CEO Bobby Kotick. Forced arbitration has been abolished, for cases that deal in sexual harassment and discrimination. Kotick has promised that ABK will be implementing a "zero-tolerance" company-wide, with regard to issues of harassment and retaliation. In addition to that, Kotick has vowed to increase the percentage of women and non-binary people in their workforce by 50% and will invest $250 million to accelerate those opportunities. Kotick has also personally requested to reduce his pay to the lowest amount California law will allow for people earning salary, which is roughly $62,500. Lastly, Kotick promised to 'increase visibility on pay equality'. It was a huge win for the ABK Workers Alliance. Not all four (4) of the ABK Worker's Alliance demands have been met or addressed.

ABK Worker's Alliance still need to see change not only in the recruitment and onboarding process of new employees, but the fair elevation of current employees and contractors to improve representation at all levels. The implementation of a third party auditor (or auditors) and full publication on relative compensation are also essential to ensure the necessary changes are long-lasting for years to come.

As was addressed at our last Council Glade, troubles linger in northern Val'sharah. Bradensbrook is damaged and in need of repairs, but the Dreamweavers' supply of lumber is at an all time low following extensive repairs made following the last Legion invasion.

Gilnean refugees have flocked to the Temple of Elune, displaced following the siege of Black Rook Hold. An ally of ours, Sentinel Stilltree of the Temple Guard, has informed us that some of the Gilnean refugees have gone missing and that, despite the Scourge forces having fled Black Rook Hold, undead sightings and activity appear to be on the rise.

Sentinel Stilltree has asked us to join the Temple Guard with investigating the case of the missing Bradensbrook Refugees, and I have accepted that task on our behalf. I ask that all able Silversworn prepared to volunteer for this mission meet with me on the 7th night of Bael'Asta, outside the Temple of Elune in the north.

Further to this mission, we are in need of someone ready and able to assume the mantle of Warden of War, even if temporarily. I have asked Brother Renoris Feathersong to consider this position some time ago, following his return from the Shadowlands. However, given unforeseen circumstances in his personal and family life, he is unable to fulfill the role. This means we are still seeking someone with the experience, drive and capacity to serve as the Silver Circle's Warden of War. Such a person will be responsible for training the Silversworn and mentoring them in the ways of warfare, and all that comes with it.

Until such a candidate emerges, I have asked Silversworn Thinius Shadowfern to assist in overseeing affairs for those who follow the Path of War. Master Shadowfern will serve as the Circle's Guardian of War, until another is able to assume the mantle of Warden of War. I have enclosed a personal letter from Master Shadowfern with this message, for you all.

Attached to the Keeper's message is a tiny letter, pressed with the wax seal of the ancient Shadowfern House.

This new month of the Elunian calendar has been named “Guardians Month” in celebration of the Watchers and Sentinel Army, two revolutionary organizations that have protected the kaldorei people from the enemies of Elune for thousands of years. It is a time of honor, justice and patience.

This month, the Silver Circle heeds a call for help from an old friend, Sentinel Stilltree of the Temple Guard. Following the events at the Black Rook Hold, many Gilnean villagers from Bradensbrook find themselves homeless. Curiously, according to Sentinel Stilltree's missive to the Silver Circle, many of these Bradensbrook Refugees have gone missing. What's worse, undead activity seems to be on the rise in the northern forests of Val'sharah.

D20 System Updates
As a brief reminder, there have been some D20 system updates the past month, including Patch 1.3 and 1.3.5. These updates include:

-Reworked Hunter's active perk; Aimed Attack
-Added two charges to the Hunter's active perk; Companion's Bond.
-Added +1 Acrobatics to the neutral racial perk; Martial Aptitude.
-Removed the Acrobatics bonus from Subtle aptitude, replacing it with a +1 to Street Savvy.
-Reorganization of wound effects, for clarification and ease-of-application.
-Inclusion of the wound brackets that require a Medicine skill check.

We enter the month of Kaldore hearts flush with victory, shan’are. The defeat of the Ruinous Cohort and their leader, Mondronoth, has meant that they were unsuccessful in their plans to regain contact with the remnants of the Burning Legion. And while we mourn the loss of those who were not saved from their heinous crimes, we celebrate those lost lives by cherishing those who we did save.

Revel and celebrate our accomplishments, sisters and brothers. Spend some time drinking and feasting with your fellow Kaldorei. As glorious as the taste of victory feels, we must not lose sight of the recovery that is necessary following several weeks of battle. I urge you all to spend this coming month recovering your strength and mending your spirits.

Lessons from all Paths begin this month. With continuations from The Keeper and Elder Celassa on Ways of the Silversworn and Lessons on Elune & Faith, respectfully. Warden Briarblade and Elder Ivyfang are also rolling out their lessons that follow the Path of the Hunt and The Path of the Wild.

Any historical documentation of the event has been lost to the ages, but the kaldorei honor the month as their birth month nonetheless, and it is celebrated with great feasts.

The sexual harassment and discrimination against women by a number of senior male staff at the aforementioned companies is nothing short of bloodcurdling and repugnant and cannot be condoned or tolerated in any capacity.

This news is truly devastating to the whole Warcraft community. Each of us were lucky enough to meet many beloved friends in this community, and for some family too. Silver Circle is no different. Without World of Warcraft, most of us would never have met each other. The question becomes, how do we proceed with such heartbreaking news?

As a women who has long enjoyed Blizzard Entertainment worlds, I feel deeply and inconsolably betrayed, and I understand if you might feel this way too. But I also love the Warcraft universe, its lore, its characters and my own roleplay characters and the other characters I have the privilege of adventuring with. Writing with this community is one of the best and most creatively nurturing experiences I have the fortune of having, and it is not something I am willing to give up.

In light of this news, I understand if anyone feels that they can no longer support Blizzard. If you wish to depart for good, or take a break, please do so. You have my full support.

Silver Circle will be here, and will continue to exist on World of Warcraft, supporting each other, the WoW community, and the many decent and hardworking women and men who built this world we've grown so fond of over the years.

By tradition, the month of Mennare is the month of kinship, competition, and pride. Kaldorei friends and families often come together during this month to host parties, religious gatherings, and athletic competitions.

This month, the Silver Circle will be focused on a new mission/campaign.

In the aftermath of the Fourth War, even as the situation in Shadowlands continue to escalate, most of the mortal organizations are slowly returning to their pre-war state, dealing with other situations that seemingly weren't urgent or in need of immediate attention.

As the Watchers receive information about a supposed attack targeting a Kaldorei outpost, they upon call the Silver Circle to check on the outpost status.

By the end of the month, we will be implementing many new ways for members to gain character XP to our new D20 system. In addition to this, we will be upgrading the rewards received for all characters who reach level 10. Please stay tuned for these new features!

Across Azeroth a multitude of letters flew across the skies, carried by the wings of a determined flock of Hyjal Hawk Owls as they flew to the Silversworn and Aspirants of the Circle as well as its allies.

I trust that this letter finds you with ease. It is not often that I call upon others for aid, yet alone go so far as to write so directly. Yet such dire times call for measures such as this, and I know that- just as before- this is no task I can complete on my own.

The Circle’s young aspirant, Tanefrun Stormhelm, remains in her endless slumber on the other side of the veil, unable to leave the lands of the dead with her still-living soul fragmented across the Shadowlands. Prior to our return we had recovered two of four pieces of her soul, yet after a month of respite the time has come for me to ask those of you who are willing to again join me across the sundered veil.

I know not what awaits those of you who heed this call, for each realm beyond is filled with its own mysteries and dangers that have threatened our lives in the past and likely will do so again. But our young aspirant is in need and so we must brave these trials, for if we do not then we condemn her to a fate worse than death.

We have proven ourselves stronger than the enemies that await us before, and we will do so again. I will not steer us wrong. We will bring Tanefrun home.

Named “High Month” to signify the peak of summer, Quel’Asta also serves as a reminder of a bygone era. In the summer heat, natural arcane magic flows more freely throughout the lands of Kalimdor. Quel’Asta is the time for creating new moonwells and purifying the land of unwelcome magical forces.

This month, the Silver Circle will embark on their third expedition into the Shadowlands, as a last-ditched attempt to find and save one of their own. Young Adult Tanefrun Stormhelm was abducted by mawsworn many moons prior, following the shattering of the sky over Icecrown in Northrend. While her physical body has been recovered and spared, slivers of her spirit remain scattered throughout the Shadowlands. It is up to the Silversworn to recover the final missing pieces, so they can bring their comrade home at long last.



[Campaign] A Spirit Sundered
When the sky shattered and the mindless undead swarmed the north, Tanefrun Stormhelm joined the fight against the throngs of Scourge with Knight Benjamin Grandblade and Silversworn Renoris Feathersong. The trio did not expect the unfortunate fate that would shake their faith; the young ranger getting abducted by the dark winged Mawsworn. Leading a rescue mission within Torghast during the Silver Circle's first expedition within the Shadowlands, it was discovered that Tanefrun's soul was shattered across the realms of death, and it was up to them to recover each fragment. With the first two fragments of the young Aspirant's soul secured and a month of rest earned, Renoris rallies the members of the Circle to return with him to the enigmatic realms of the Shadowlands to search for the remaining two.

While many characters in our community embark into the Shadowlands, others have elected to stay within the realm of the living. During this period of in-character uncertainty, those who have characters remaining on Azeroth are encouraged to partake in casual and spontaneous roleplay together this month, or organize some of their own. Even as the Shadowlands storyline unfolds, life continues on Azeroth as well! This is a reminder to all D20 event participants that the experience cap of 10/10 per month resets on the 1st of each month. Please remember to save your characters' D20 profiles to a Cloud system, either the website Dossier, a personal email or Google document, or in our #D20 channel in our guild Discord server in the event your RP profile wipes.

At the heart of Lightsong the clarion call of a horn sung through the verdant mirror to the Emerald Dream, a message stamped to every board and a parliament of owls soaring through the woods to bring this message beyond Val'sharah's border.

A victory has happened in the Shadowlands. Renoris Feathersong has led the circle to two pieces of Tanefrun's soul bringing us one step closer to our goal of resuscitating our charge. Cherish this victory, brothers and sisters, in times such as these good news is few and far between save for that which we forge ourselves.

Take a moment for yourselves, for your friends and love ones, feast and rejoice, for the heat of Summer has come. It is time to honor our paths and rekindle the bond we share in our ceremonial oath to the flame.

For those of you still yearning for a challenge, or have been idle on Azeroth looking for a cause, a friend of the Circle, Lyastei Starbreeze, seeks helping hands to hunt acolytes of the Blight. Her expedition shall be gathering in Moonglade soon.

Sellistre marks the beginning of summer and is branded as the month of fortune, fashion and marriage, but is commonly called “Artisans Month” or “Hunters Month”. Traditionally, Sellistre signifies bountiful hunts, young love, and bright colors. It is prosperous for artisans especially, for the surplus in crafting materials that can be found in the wilds.

This month, the Silver Circle's attention will be focused on Azeroth. With a change in path leaders comes fresh perspectives, and with them new iterations upon the traditional path events as we know them. In lieu of limiting each path to a single week, we have elected to celebrate all of them throughout the month as each path leader works to rediscover the unique lessons their paths have to offer.




D20 System Updates
We are excited to finally bring out long awaited and asked for updates to the guild's D20 system. This includes customizable skills, racial traits, along with active and passive perks. We hope that this system update will bring out the unique skills of each of your characters throughout our events, be it investigating a murder, combating log-wielding Gnolls, or convincing a goblin that their coin purse is yours.

Path Month is here! With the bevy of changes aimed at spicing up this yearly tradition, like with many of our overhauls in recent months we are committed to invoking new and interesting events or designs based on original concepts.

Keep an eye out on the Calendar for Path events held by each of the path leaders. By the end of the summer we anticipate that a new interactive path system will be featured on the website.

Silver Circle Anniversary Event
On June 16th, 2020, the Silver Circle will commemorate its fourth anniversary on Wyrmrest Accord. To honor this event, the Keeper and Path Leaders invite everyone to gather at the moonwell in the Oracle Glade, Teldrassil at 5:00 PM server time for a guild photo. Afterwards, there will be an in-character Council Glade and ceremonial Renewal of the Flame ritual to commemorate the occasion. Please note, the in-game location will be an OOC one; IC, the guild gathering will be taking place outside of Astranaar.

To celebrate our triumphs over the last year OOC, we have made a new and interactive Yearbook thread for our members and allies to post their favorite memes, screenshots, good times, and more since June 2020. Everyone with access to our website is invited and encouraged to share their experiences, and join the Anniversary Raffle by making a submission to the new Yearbook thread. The submission can be anything, from a screenshot to a short message. The winner of the Yearbook Raffle will win a copy of the 'World of Warcraft: Folk & Fairy Tales of Azeroth'.

A Letter from the Keeper

Letters wing their way across Azeroth in the talons of Val'sharah hawk owls, carrying important messages to members of the Circle.

In’elah shan’are,

We are faced with more change this turning of the moon, as our Warden of War Shaureyne Razorleaf steps down to venture on a new path. She has left behind a farewell message to each of you, a copy of which should accompany this letter.

In the midst of this change, Renoris Feathersong has stepped up to organize a second expedition to return to the Shadowlands, to seek the soul remnants of Tanefrun Stormhelm which have been sundered and scattered throughout the Shadowlands. This shall be the expedition's primary focus, but a secondary focus shall be aiding the denizens of the Shadowlands with righting The Balance of life and death, by assisting them with the collection of anima. For more details regarding this mission, I advise that you seek out and speak with Renoris Feathersong.

Our ally, the ren'dorei known as Mythoral, has also reached out to us to assist him with some matters in a place known as Tol Barad, off the coast of the Eastern Kingdoms. Those of you who will be staying behind on Azeroth, I advise that you seek him out.

Those of you willing and able to make the journey between our world and the Shadowlands, I advise you bring an extra supply of Lavender Gate with you, some of which has been specially enchanted to allow for relatively safe passage to and from Val'sharah and Ardenweald. Please seek out and speak with either Y'fayelle Lunadoe or Elder of the Wild Kelanthos Ivyfang for more information on the application of this herb.

A Missive from the Warden of War




Farhal is the month of culture and tradition, but is also recognized as the month of fertility. Many kaldorei towns and cities celebrate Byltan, the festival of life. These celebrations typically involve cultural displays of dance, theatre, poetry, and art as well as the consumption of large quantities of holiday spirits.

This month, the Silver Circle will be focused on splitting its attention between Azeroth and the Shadowlands, while they search for the soul remnants of Aspirant Tanefrun Stormhelm which have been scattered throughout the realms of the Shadowlands.



Path Updates 2021
This month, members are invited and encouraged to utilize casual RP and spontaneous RP to get to know the new Path Leaders and build a rapport and understanding of content to come in the summer months of 2021.

The Month of June 2021 will be dedicated to honoring the guild anniversary and changes to the Path system that are in the pipeline. We anticipate that no later than the end of Summer 2021, a new interactive path system will be featured on the website.

For the last few months the new leadership team has been working hard to revamp the guild D20 system to be more interactive for all participants, but also more inclusive to affiliates and adaptable for DMs. This month, the leadership team will be preparing to roll out the update in time for June 2021.
