Astrahe (February
Feyawen Nightfury / Feb 01, 2022 / Guild Announcement
Scrolls pressed with the Keeper's seal wing their way across Azeroth in the talons of Lightsong Messenger Owls, and are promptly delivered to all Aspirants and Silversworn of the Silver Circle.
In'elah Shan'are,
As many of you know from the most recent Council Glade, Elder Kelanthos Ivyfang has uncovered a bevy of ancient scrolls from a past iteration of our order.
The scrolls have been translated by Elder Ivyfang's hand and they detail the old tenants of the various Paths the ancient Silversworn once followed. Until recently, the Paths were something merely hinted at in what few ancient texts we possessed. There are four commonly known paths: the Path of the Wild, the Path of the Hunt, the Path of War and the Path of the Moon. Each path is specifically tied to a primary lunar phase and season, which many of us become attuned and reattune with throughout our long lives.
These four paths have long been reflected in our society, but to the Silversworn they are each unique. It is for each of us to chart our own paths, using the tenants we have been provided as a lodestone. If we can each find our own means of pursuing these ancient tasks, I believe we find the means to fulfill our Silver Oaths. Visit the Archives, shan'are. Read about the Paths, and determine which Path resonates with you most.
Elun'dorini talah,

ASTRAHE(FEBRUARY)
The month of the kimchi, or the sowing month. Astrahe is the time of year when the preservers of the Sentinel Army harvest fresh winter crops such as cabbage, radish, beets, and more to make rations for the army. This month, the Silver Circle will be focused on lore uncovered about the various paths the Silversworn of old once followed. Ancient scrolls from bygone iterations of the Circle have been recovered from a market in Tanaris by Elder Kelanthos Ivyfang. Though written in Ancient Darnassian, Elder Ivyfang has taken the liberty of transcribing the ancient lore in the modern tongue. Together, the guides of the Circle's Paths (Elders and Wardens) have determined to publish this knowledge to the Silver Circle Archives, and they welcome all Aspirants and Silversworn of the Circle to reference.
The Path Leaders will be hosting at least 2 events each for the month of February, and will be available to support members as they begin their character development along the newly updated paths.
ANNOUNCEMENTS

Those who are interested in joining Silver Circle for roleplay, to get to know us or to potentially join in the near future, we strongly encourage you to make use of our Introduction Prompts. Information regarding our recruitment process can be found here! If you are interested in attending one or more of our events, please check our event calendar to see what roleplay we have in store!

The long awaited Path updates are complete. Updates include changes to path descriptions, path specific pledges that will be made at Council Glade, new Path Laws, Path Lore, Path Titles and Insignias, and the exciting new interactive HTML5 Path Constellations. The new paths come with new rules, and have been designed to be more linear and easier to follow, without the stressful choice paralysis some experienced with the old paths. IC involvement with the Paths will become more front and center in our guild RP going forward.
Please take heed that this means all old path progression is considered legacy path progression, and will not count toward any of the new path content. All members, including the Keeper, will begin the new Paths completely fresh.
Note: With these updates comes a change to one of the ranks within the Circle: the Guardian role. This role, once solely OOC, is now both IC and OOC and functions for the sole purpose of supporting and aiding their respective path and keeping track of Council Glade Minutes. As of February 1st, the Guardian roster has been reset and can only be filled by those who pursue their respective paths to the fullest, and who seek to help as many others along their path as they reasonably can.

One of <Silver Circle>'s goals as a guild is to kindle casual roleplay, and strengthen bonds of unity between the kaldorei and the Alliance. Members are encouraged to engage with one another in casual roleplay during this month, to hold spontaneous encounters, educational gatherings, debates, simple socials, combat training, work on Path progression, or whatever your creativity abides. If there is a type of roleplay you’ve been wanting to try – now is the time to host it! As a reminder, all members and Affiliates are welcome to schedule events at their leisure. Please be sure to schedule events using the website calendar and the in-game calendar, while also adhering to our Event Rules.
