Messages soar around Azeroth to Silversworn, Aspirants, and trusted affiliates in the talons of Val’sharah hawk owls.
A difficult decision lies ahead of us. We have come to a crossroads, where our duty to our people here on Azeroth is challenged by our duty to upholding the Balance in Elune's name. The Flame of Elune wanes, with no remedy in sight, save for the signs granted us by the Silversworn of the ancient past. While their spirits beckon for aid beyond the veil in the Shadowlands, many of our brothers and sisters in the Kingdom of Stormwind still need guidance and support.
It is no challenge for us to decide what must be done, for support must be provided on both fronts. However, we are unable to commit our whole order to just one of these paths. And so, I ask you all, who among you might be willing to make the journey into the beyond? The Shadowlands is not meant for mortals to tread. According to our contact in the Knights of the Ebon Blade, it is a world of infinite realms, boundless horrors and enrapturing beauty. It is a place where spirits go to stay, eternally. There is no assurance that mortals who travel there will return.
To all who are ready or eager to commit themselves to a journey to this spirit realm, I ask that you consider what you are willing to give up for this pursuit. Preparations shall begin in Lightsong on the 8th night of Astrahe. We have been granted a single week from the night of the 8th, for all willing Silversworn to make necessary preparations for the journey ahead. On the eve of the 16th, we shall all gather together for a final send-off.
ASTRAHE (FEBRUARY)The month of the kimchi, or the sowing month. Astrahe is the time of year when the preservers of the Sentinel Army harvest fresh winter crops such as cabbage, radish, beets, and more to make rations for the army.
This month, the Silver Circle finds itself torn between two missions vital to their cause: to remain on Azeroth to safeguard their people and their sacred lands, or to journey across the veil to the Shadowlands, to unravel the mystery of their dying Flame of Elune and do their part in mending the Balance of nature.
[Campaign] Through the Valley of Death
The Silver Circle finds itself in the City of Lions, researching rumors surrounding the Shadowlands and how to access the mythical realm. With news of the Flame of Elune dying again, finding means for Silversworn to pass over and investigate the broken cycle of life and death could be their only hope of saving it.
This campaign continues through February as the Circle's Silversworn are each presented with an impossible choice; to safeguard Azeroth, or take the plunge into the afterlife.
Recruitment Reopens February 15th
After an extended hiatus to acclimate to the new expansion, our active guild recruitment will reopen on Monday, February 15th 2021.
Those interested in becoming part of the Silver Circle are encouraged to engage with the guild and its members in-game, both in-character and out-of-character, to get to know us prior to joining. More details regarding recruitment and our process can be found here! Feel free to use our Introduction Prompts to introduce yourself here on our forums!
[RP] Call to Casual Events
Silver Circle is focused in part on rekindling casual roleplay and side quests inspired by strengthening bonds of unity among the kaldorei and members of the Alliance. As many guild characters prepare to cross the veil into the Shadowlands in our current storyline, this month will be one of the final opportunities to create all-inclusive, single-plane-of-existence casual roleplay spaces for some time.
Members are encouraged to engage with one another more casually in roleplay outside of scheduled events, to host side quests, educational gatherings, debates, simple socials, or even combat training. If there’s a type of casual roleplay you’ve been wanting to try – now is the time to host it! And as a reminder, all members and Affiliates are welcome to schedule events at their leisure, in accordance with our Event Rules.
Important Path Information
As of December 31st 2020, Flash has become obsolete across multiple web browsers. This means that the Path Trees as we've known them have become difficult, if not impossible, to access via the website. If you can no longer access the Path trees, please contact Feyawen over the guild Discord to receive the direct file for viewing.
Soon, the path system will be restructured and re-created in HTML5, with each leader utilizing their unique perspectives and knowledge of their respective paths to introduce new and improved versions of them and the tasks therein. Anyone interested in helping or offering feedback is encouraged to do so. Likewise, anyone with experience working with HTML5 is encouraged to reach out to Feyawen.
