Touch of Elune
OOC: What about the kaldorei inspires you, and what is your favorite thing about them?
IC: What memory has the most impact on your character's life, and does it drive them today?

OOC: I've always had a love for the magical aspects of fantasy. And the elves of Azeroth are a perfect example of that. Ten thousand year old elves with a deep connection to nature and a religion centered around the moon with added texture of them being nocturnal. It's such a fun concept that I enjoy playing around with in my head.

IC: It might not be a single memory, more like a chain that kinda connects them, ya know? One of the things I always loved where the little critters of the forest, watching them scamper around and just be them. No responsibilities, no thought of impendin' doom. Just a squirrel and their stach of nuts. I remember sittin' on the fence to my ma's farm in Ashenvale, watchin' them little critters go about their business, makin' up little stories for what they were doin'. It makes me remember the little things, ya know? The things, or critters, that people just don't think about or simply forget. But I'll remember them. And I'll do my best to let them know that they won't be forgot.

Quickness
OOC: Describe your dream job or the hobbies you most enjoy and why.
IC: What skills can your character teach and do they have any hidden talents?

OOC: This may come as a shock, but my two most active hobbies are gaming... and writing. I'm not particularly good at either, but I enjoy them for rather similar reasons. I find the process of creating stories and worlds relaxing. Day dreaming about an alien race out in space or some fantastical world honestly helps me get through the day. And my writing does take a heavy focus on Fantasy, horror, and scifi. In that order. And gaming, specifically rpg's and TTRPG's, is simply an extension of that. Allowing me to take a character concept and lay it out into the world and freely interact with it. Crafting my own stories or enjoying a well crafted story of another.

IC: Now, I don't like to brag too much. It tends to make me feel silly and sets an expectation of greatness that I feel I could never achieve from others. But I can weave quite a few spells together. My connection of nature ain't so much of turnin' into a cat and swipin' across someone's face as much as channelin' the raw fury of nature in the form of... Well, magic. I'm a somewhat decent healer. At least, I know how to keep things from dyin' too early till the real healers can get to it. As for hidden talents... Well... Um... that's the fantastic thing about them! They're hidden even to me! ((OOC: Larele has a natural healing aura as her "Hidden talent". It's nothing major, but those she's around will find scratches and bruises healing almost visibly and some of their pains melting away. Oh, and she might cure the sniffles. But anything bigger than a cat scratch would be largely unaffected besides a slight dulling of pain))

Nature Resistance
OOC: What personal strengths and weaknesses do you want to develop as a writer?
IC: Name one thing you love about your character, and one thing you'd like to improve for them.

OOC: For strengths: I think I do a good job creating characters and personal story concepts. But I tend to struggle to execute them. For the simple reason of "I know where it's going. I want to rush to the end." So I try to focus more on the journey rather than the destination. The destination doesn't mean anything if the journey to get there is soured.

IC: I like to keep things light hearted. My attention span might not be too great, nor can I word good, but I'm always there to try and brighten people's day. Or, at least entertain myself and let others come along for the ride. A smile is always brighter when it has companions. As for what I can improve on... Well, I tend to want to do my own thing. I'm used to workin' on my own in solitude. Workin' as a team is something new to me and not something I do often. I hope to change that.

Wisp Spirit
OOC: Describe your hopes and expectations for your ideal roleplay community.
IC: Is your character spiritual, and what made them that way?

OOC: Honestly, I want RP that goes beyond just "Talk a bit, go here, kill something". But has an actual ebb and flow with a focus on character and overarching story rather than idle conversation interrupted by the occasional combat. And even then, I'd want the combat to have consequences more than a few scraps. I don't want player characters to consistently die, but I don't want to enter a fight knowing I'll survive because the DM doesn't want to kill me.

IC: I'm a druid. I might not be overly religious, but spirituality is kinda our thing. I place my faith into nature. The ebb and flow of life and death. The delicate balance of the ecosystems and the continuous circular nature of life.

Shadowmeld
OOC: Are you an introvert or extrovert, and what does your ideal get together consist of?
IC: Does your character like going on adventures or would they prefer to stay home and relax, why?

OOC: I'm an introvert in that I find it far more relaxing to be on my own rather than surrounded by people. If I wanna relax, it's locked in my house/bedroom. Away from others with a video game or a good book. That said, my ideal get together does consist of actually being with people, but with the option of being able to do my own thing to. We'd have set times where we hang out, then free time to do what we want.

IC: I love adventure! I love nothing more than going out, exploring, meeting new people and new critters! Get into a little trouble, talk or fight our way out, it can be so fun! Scary at times, but fun!

Because I forgot to add this: First, take a moment to introduce who you are and how you found us! Below are some OOC and IC prompts you can use to help get your introduction started! Answer as many or as few as you wish, or send in something completely unique! We look forward to getting to know you and your character!

Hi! I'm Carrot, but some of you might know me as Draithion Bloodstar or Ruiya Alepetal. I'm a lover of writing and fantasy in particular having grown up on stuff like Eragon and The Saga of Darren Shan before moving on to denser stuff like the Dark Tower or Wheel of Time. I hope to have all the fun when interacting with you!

As for how I found you, well I play DnD with a few of you guys and was introduced by a member of the guild.

I've known Larele for a few years now and have been trying to introduce them to the guild. They actually attended a meeting with me during my first few weeks of trying out, then they mysteriously vanished into the night.... It's good that you're finally coming around! It would be good to have another healer and druid type into the Circle!

IC: Cay has known Larele for a long while, they have been close friends. Often using Larele as a pillar of support and advice. She has been attempting to plant a bug in the druid's ear since she has joined Silver Circle and it's good to see that it's start to pan out.

Larele,

I distinctly recall you attending our Council Glade a lat April atop Rhut'van Peak in Azsuna. Your character had no issue offering her opinions during that Council Glade, and that was very nice to see and interact with IC.

We have a new campaign starting up next week. I highly recommend tagging along if you're interested in diving into some roleplay with us ๐Ÿ˜Ž

In the meantime, I'd love to know more about your other roleplay experiences either in WoW or D&D!

Feyawen,

I'm actually a little nervous that you remember me from a year ago, lol. I'm glad I made a positive impression!

As for experience in DnD, I'm currently in three games a week. So I'm pretty familiar with the mechanics of the game, though I'm far from an expert. My roles, as of now, range from a heavy metal warforged bard who questions the validity of his soul while searching for his creator among the denizens of the under dark.

A half-elf celestial warlock with a disdain for humanity due to past traumas associated with their father thinking they were insane for speaking to their patron, who is basically a biblically accurate angel.

And a San'Layn echo knight fighter recently released from imprisonment and intent on sewing some chaos before finding out what happened to his loved ones during his imprisonment. This one is actually in Sel's Saturday night game.

Unfortunately, my WoW experience is a bit more limited as most of my Rp has been with Cay or tavern RP. I have not been in an actual rp guild. Though I have experience in Rping in FFXIV.

Larele,

Your character was very impressionable ๐Ÿ˜„

And your D&D characters sound like a ton of fun to play. Even if I suspect your warlock and echo knight have had some hard times.

Roleplay with Silver Circle isn't too different from what you might expect from D&D. Except with a lot of detailed events and interactions between story-related events, to help us develop our characters and see them grow as individuals and grow their many unique relationships.

You're welcome to reach out to me in-game at Grawrlz#1234 anytime. And swing by to any of our events as you please ๐Ÿ˜Ž
