Hello~! I go by Schen/Snoopy. I've been roleplaying on WoW since I was 13 years old (now 26), and have always been a glutton for Night Elf lore as my specialty. Schen, as a druid, was my second character I ever made, my original being a human Holy Paladin, but I've mainly played Resto druid since the beginning. I have my times of going absent from the game because of a drought of content, or personal reasons IRL, but I always come back.
Kelthos is one of my best friends, we've been roleplaying since 2013, and he speaks very highly of the Circle and its members, and I've come to enjoy my time in the chat (and thanks for letting me join!).
Touch of Elune OOC: What about the kaldorei inspires you, and what is your favorite thing about them? -My favorite thing about the Kaldorei is their resilience. Since the beginning of their history, they've had to endure and overcome countless threats and wars, and they still remain hopeful and positive about the future for Azeroth.
Quickness OOC: Describe your dream job or the hobbies you most enjoy and why. -My dream job is that of a therapist. I went to school for Psychology and wanted to do just that. I planned on getting my Masters in Psychology, and a specialists degree in School Psychology to work with kids to help them prepare for the world.
Touch of Elune IC: What memory has the most impact on your character's life, and does it drive them today? -Schen has a vivid memory of the War of the Ancients, watching his friends and family take up arms against the Legion, and so many of them to be slaughtered. He fought valiantly, but in the process lost his parents and his brother to the battle. It still drives him, and has driven him throughout every war since, to defend Azeroth, his friends, and his people until his dying breath.
Quickness IC: What skills can your character teach and do they have any hidden talents? -Even as a druid, Schen was a skilled medicinal and practical healer. He only used his magic to heal the most grievous of wounds, and he still treated them with bandages and salves afterwards. He is always happy to teach others these skills. -As far as hidden talents, Schen is a skilled Arcanist, having Highborne blood running through his veins. He suppressed this skill for thousands of years, turning to druidism as his pride of life, as Arcane magic was the reason behind the fall of their civilization and the sundering of the world. When Teldrassil burned, however, Schen had to cut himself off from that natural connection to nature and life as it was driving him to the brink of insanity to feel death on such a scale. As such, his Arcane roots once again emerged and he embraced it in the name of vengeance for his people, turning to the power of the Night Warrior.
I understand the feeling of always coming back, lol. Seems like there is always some kind of pull or tug to come back, so it's good that you have decided to come back now and hopefully we can keep you here ^^
The resilience factor is something that my character relates heavily with as well. Times can be hard and rough, things dire and scary, but somehow that always been a role in their society and lives. I'm super curious to see how being a Night Warrior and that power comes to change or effect healing roles, like what it would do to a regrowth spell, etc. As for Kelthos, we may need you around just to keep an eye on him, so when he does some foolish things you can save him.
Looking forever to seeing you around and meeting your character!
