*I am Phandris SilverBark. Veteran Sentinel. Ever since the sundering i pledge my self to serve our people by wearing our armor carry our moonglaive and my faith to Elune, become a soldier and protector. Even today i continue my service as a sentinel despite the years and the horrors me and my sisters faced against all odds. After my time at Hyjal i only just heard about the Silver Circle. I know little of this order but i am certain they too will be in need of another glaive. I am willing to volunteer.*
OOC: Hello! Im an EU Argent Dawn rper who started fairly recently last March 2020. I still consider my self a new rper as i still wish to work my way to get better. I heard of the Silver cirlcle thanks to a friend i met from twitter and a commissioner i met both ic and ooc.
Touch of Elune OOC: What about the kaldorei inspires you, and what is your favorite thing about them?
I love their looks for they do not share much similarities with humans like highelfs do and that kaldorei are their own thing. Another reason is their fantasy and culture and how much i loved them when were introduced in warcraft 3.
IC: What memory has the most impact on your character's life, and does it drive them today?
*The sundering. I can not say much as it matters little now but i wish to admit that i u sed to be a different person with a diffrent lifestyle back then at times feels haunting to think about all the changes ever ince*
OOC: Describe your dream job or the hobbies you most enjoy and why.
I enjoy art let alone making my own drawings! big dream of mine was to have a style of my own and do animations things i am half way there i believe.
IC: What skills can your character teach and do they have any hidden talents?
(Haven't be that far with this as i still look to find a way to develop her character further)
*As a veteran sentinel and fighter i can always teach a few things to our youngest with the glaive so long they wish it.*
OOC: What personal strengths and weaknesses do you want to develop as a writer?
My creativity when it comes to emotes. I spent a whole year doing my best to improve my writting and taking inspiration and notes from other rpers i spent time with Either how they describe or how they write down stories or even for events. Althought im more of an artist then a writer i do hope to get better in the future and perhaps to make events of my own.
IC: Name one thing you love about your character, and one thing you'd like to improve for them.
*Hmm. I am an old woman and despite serving my people as a sentinel i do wish to get to become a druid like my brother once did. i wasn't that interested until it begin to get my attettion as of late but i fear that personal desire will have to wait.*
OOC: Describe your hopes and expectations for your ideal roleplay community.
I personaly wish to see more people roleplay outside of capitals and maybe even well organized rp-pvps i only had the honnor to be in one from AD and it went pretty well so i hope we get to see such in the future.
Hello Phandris! When I saw your introduction your name seemed super familiar to me. I think I've seen you around Stormwind while roleplaying on my death knight. Maybe you approached @Pan_Bean on twitter's death knight after I was walking off? Either way, I hope you enjoy roleplaying with the Circle!
Your character seems interesting. Don't see a lot of sentinels who are interested in becoming druids, and I think the Circle will be a fun place to explore that; especially because many of our members have fairly rich headcanon relating to druidism and the training it entails (as well as basically any given element of Kaldorei culture).
As for learning to better write emotes, that is something that I can relate to pretty well, because I am still pretty self conscious about my emotes. One thing that I really found helpful was just reading books. Not just fantasy books either. A lot of writing styles translate really well into WoW emotes, and you can pick and choose which phrases/methods of description you find interesting from particular books to work into your emotes.
Also, welcome to the roleplay scene! Silver Circle isn't a bad place to learn, even if you consider yourself fairly new. I'm sure lots of our members would be interested in helping you brainstorm ideas for your characters. I know I have gone to a lot of members of the Silver Circle looking for ideas myself, and I am a veteran roleplayer of roughly six or seven years.
Hope you have fun with us, and almost all events (aside from some very specific one tailored to members of the guild who are bound to the silver flame) are open to anyone, including non elf characters, so don't hesitate to tag along! o7
Phandris, I had a grand time roleplaying with you and getting to meet your character! The roleplay hook you started at the Lunar Festival was a smart way to get started, and made the experience interactive.
I'm a former EU player myself, though I live in the US. The time zone difference can be a challenge, but our Discord server is active and it's easy to get in touch with everyone for roleplay any time of the day.
I had the wonderful chance to roleplay with you at the last Council Glade in Winterspring. It was nice to meet someone new. I love the concept of Phandris from what I have read and engaged with so far and hopefully can continue to see more of her.
I hope to see you soon for some casual roleplay around Lightsong or at another campaign.
