Nalasera Moonsorrow
[OOC]

Howdy folks! My name is Orian, and I've recently come back to the World of Warcraft after another brief hiatus, looking to settle back into my Alliance roots and find some folks to play with! I've been keeping on eye on a lot of different guild postings in the forums and such, and this group looks like something I'd be interested in.

Touch of Elune
The Kaldorei are an ancient and storied people, and I find their long history and the way it is entwined with the major historical events of Azeroth to be fascinating. Not only that, but I find them to be an extremely complicated race that has much more nuanced than some people give them credit for. They are proud, fierce, and absolutely a part of the Alliance to be reckoned with.

Quickness
Might be something every roleplayer says, but I love writing. My girlfriend and I met through cooperative writing by way of forum roleplaying, and still do so with each other to this day. I always fancied building my own worlds and penning a novel, but I never really had the opportunity. My dream job would be a tabletop RPG game designer, someone who writes vast swathes of lore for the building blocks of new worlds.

Nature Resistance
I find my greatest strength to be forging worlds, and getting inside the headspace of a character. I take a lot of time to think through just how a character's mind works because that informs a lot of decisions. I think my biggest weakness as a writer is finding the right way to say the things I want to say, without being redundant as well as containing myself to only what's really necessary and not adding too many vapid details.

Wisp Spirit
I'd love a group of people who are genuine, honest, kind, passionate about their characters and the game they play. I prefer a smaller group that knows each other better, rather than a vast, hundreds-large guild where I'd feel like more of a name on a list than an actual member of something. Really, I just want to feel comfortable with the people I'm roleplaying with.

Shadowmeld
I see myself as more of an extrovert because I'm shy around people I don't know and have a hard time putting myself out there. But once I get to know a group of people, it becomes much easier for me to spend time around them. As such, I prefer to do something in smaller groups, something casual and free-form that everyone can enjoy at their own pace.

[IC]

Nalasera Moonsorrow, a mighty Druid of the Claw, defender of the Kaldorei, and aspiring Archdruid. It has long been her dream to stand beside the likes of Shan'do Stormrage as an equal. Probably an unrealistic dream, but her aspirations have always been high. She's never been one to deal in half-measures and half-effort, giving her all into anything she sets her heart on. And after the tragedy that befell Teldrassil at the hands of the Banshee Queen, her heart is set on one thing in particular: revenge.

Touch of Elune
The World Tree burns still in her mind, as brightly as it did the day it was lost. Of all the struggles and hardships that her people had faced, this was the most world-shattering among them. Before that, she was a fierce protector of the Alliance, but preferred not to seek out conflict. But in the ashes of Teldrassil, a fire ignited in her heart as well, to put her talents to use doing more than just standing in harm's way... but to end those that cause such suffering. Many friends and loved ones perished in the burning of Darnassus and Teldrassil, and she still mourns their passing each and every day.

Quickness
Nalasera is an adept in the Druidic Arts; healing, shapeshifting, and nature magic. She also is familiar in the arts of herbalism, alchemy, cooking, skinning, and leatherworking in order to take the resources of the natural world and honor them in the way they deserve. Her secret talent is probably her cooking, honestly, as she could never tell how she'd become so good at it, and yet she could bolster an entire Alliance battalion's morale with a few short hours over a cooking fire. In another life, perhaps, she would have been a chef rather than a Druid.

Nature Resistance
Honestly, I love the fire that burns within her. Whether it be the fire to learn, to improve, to become the best version of herself, or the fire that burns for the vengeance in her heart, she's a very passionate character. It speaks to my lack of motivation in real life, wishing that I had the same spark that I ignited inside her. As for improvement... she's grown a bit of a rough exterior because of her losses and has acted somewhat recklessly because of her anger.

Wisp Spirit
What faith she had previously held has all but faded, seeing the great horrors and injustices dealt to her people without any opportunity to reprieve. Elune, the Light, whatever one believes in, these are things used to reassure the weak and scared that everything will be okay, while it is the strong that truly shoulder the burden.

Shadowmeld
Adventure, most assuredly. Seeing new places, meeting new people, having new experiences, these are the best ways for a person to grow. And so much of the world still has to be seen but the eyes of this relatively young Night Elf, who holds her wonder buried beneath far too many cynical layers, and needs the opportunity to let it shine through once again.

Hi Nala/Orian! Welcome to the Silver Circle website and welcome back to WoW! 😄 Please feel free to peruse the various features we have to offer, and definitely don't hesitate to come join us for roleplay in-game! You can catch us at one of our upcoming events using the guild calendar.

My girlfriend and I met through cooperative writing by way of forum roleplaying, and still do so with each other to this day.

I also met my girlfriend through the magic of roleplaying! We've been going strong for nearly four years now after meeting eachother through my previous WoW guild, <Silverwing Sentinels>. It is always a joy to be able to share that passion with partners, friends & family, and I'm so glad you have that opportunity! 💜

Did you mean to say you are an introvert here? If not that's totally fine! But a lot of the quirks that you mentioned are far more often attributed to introverts than extroverts. 😉 I am more of an introvert myself, as are many of our other members. The tight-knit atmosphere of SC lends itself a lot to everyone feeling comfortable and like they're among family. We even had an IRL meetup last year!

I find this part of your introduction intriguing. We do have a few characters in the guild that feel similarly after the Burning of Teldrassil, their faith all but shattered in the face of such a loss with seemingly no divine interventions. Silver Circle is, however, an Elunian adventuring guild at its core. Would Nalasera be open to rekindling a connection to the religion, or is it perhaps a part of her character you are interested in exploring through RP?

Wow, I did actually mean introvert. Sometimes words are hard, I suppose! I SHALL FOREVER BEAR THE SHAME! But yeah, my more introverted tendencies are kinda the big reason I was looking into this guild and its smaller community because I have sort of a hard time sifting through a couple of hundred people, remembering them all as and learning them as they truly deserve, and kinda drown in an ocean of obscurity because I get a little overwhelmed!

I'd be super interested in exploring her relationship with religion and Elune through RP. Because, I certainly feel like there is a subconscious part of her that still feels the hand of Elune in the world around her, but she's just become so jaded and disenfranchised with the belief system and the way that so many are so utterly and almost blindly faithful, expecting that they can either explain away a tragedy with some empty words or try to explain every little thing as an act of Elune, and thus it must somehow be for an unseen benefit. I think it's sort of like a long term crisis of faith.
