OOC:

Hello!! My name is Elle, I’ve been playing wow for 12 years now maybe? I’m pretty big into raiding but have been very interested in roleplay for years now. I started dabbling in rp 3 years back before taking an indefinite break from the game, I came back a year ago and am now ready to start dipping my toes into the world of roleplay yet again :D I love, love, Love night elf lore and adore playing them! I’ve always made my own headcanon for every night elf I’ve made, regardless of realm, and I decided it was time to bring a headcanon and an oc to life in my character Therandra! Since coming back, I’ve looked at most if not all night elf guilds and this one seems to be the best fit for my character and the direction I want her to grow in. I’ve researched and looked into your guild and it’s cause extensively and I’m very interested in it’s story and its people! My only issue, and this is purely on my side lol, is the fact that I do have a heroic progression guild that I am still active in, as well as real life obligations. We raid tuesdays-wednesdays and some of my time is spent gearing and preparing, so I’m worried this could conflict with roleplay? I’d like to be as active as possible here if I am to be accepted so I hope I can work something out!

Touch of Elune:

I don’t think I can pick just one thing that inspires me, I suppose their elusive nature and their passionate ferocity. I’m very drawn to their history and how it’s shaped and defined them as a people and a culture. I’m quite interested and love all things space, planets, and stars so naturally I was very inclined to the night elves nocturnal and moon/star worshipping ways.

Quickness:

I’m very interested in psychology and psychiatry, just in general the way the brain works is extremely fascinating to me. I love to read, write, and draw. Making my own worlds or losing myself in other people’s worlds is a very enjoyable hobby to me. I like drawing because it brings color and things to life.

Nature Resistance:

I have a lot of social anxiety so putting myself out there, even in a wow context, is really something I'm striving to work for. I have trouble getting lost in my thoughts about saying the wrong things too much but I love wow and rp too much to let that stop me. I hope developing my rp skills more will help and this guild seems perfect to help me on that path :)

Wisp Spirit

I don’t have set expectations for what I want my dream roleplay to be like but I do know that I want a community that loves this lore and this race just as much as me, and are kind, patient, and friendly. I want to feel like I’m apart of a community of people with a common goal, and like my opinions and ideas matter. I see a lot of these aspects in this guild, which is wonderful!

Shadowmeld:

I’m definitely an introvert lol. I prefer small get together with few close friends over all, too many people or too much at once can overwhelm me in an irl setting.

IC:

Therandra is a priestess and an archer, a devout worshipper of Elune and deadly with the bow. She believes in fighting for what you want, fighting for a value, and that the only way to strike down danger is to stay aware and vigilant. This makes her a more adventurous and go getting character of mine, she finds great strength and guidance in her adventures through Elune. She has stayed largely dormant since the third invasion of the Burning Legion, allowing herself a brief respite to focus on her hobbies and renew her faith. But as the whispers of threats grow larger and the displacement of her people continues, she has decided to come to the forefront of defense yet again as a healer and an archer.

Touch of Elune:

The War of the Ancients was a large stepping stone in Therandra;s life, it made her more aware of things outside of her own bubble and, in some ways, shaped her to be who she is. She sacrificed, lost, and went through so much to survive then, the reminder of its toll on her will always drive her to protect her people against all threats. As well as that, losing her little brother in the War of the Satyr devastated her in a way she didn’t know it could. Losing her brother drives her every day to be the best she can and honor his name and his memory.

Quickness:

Therandra wouldn’t consider herself a teacher or someone to learn from by any means, but time spent around her can teach others to find inner peace and things to strive for, rather than lose themselves in gainless tasks. She is quite skilled at the harp, though hasn’t played in thousands of years. She enjoys sewing when the time allows her.

Nature Resistance:

I love my character for her strength. She is truly very genuine and has her people’s interest at heart, I admire her tenacity through all the things that have happened to her in her life and then some. She has a tendency to not trust others, keeping herself guarded and reserved. I’d like for her to get out of her comfort zone and socialize more and learn to trust more.

Wisp Spirit:

Therandra is extremely spiritual, being a devout worshipper of Elune. When she was young, prior to the War of the Ancients, she did not feel as strongly. She was a priestess in training at the time mostly because it was expected of her and she couldn’t see herself becoming or doing anything else. When the war broke out, she felt lost and overwhelmed but the guidance of Elune supported and strengthened her through it all. She is extremely thankful for the strength and love she was given and has continued to be given to this day. Ever since then her faith in Her has never wavered.

Shadowmeld:

Therandra loves adventure. She has a strong belief in staying aware and vigilant through seeing the world for your own eyes, something only travel can grant. Though she was raised in a comfortable home, she will always prefer to feel the moonlight on her skin and the ground beneath her feet above anything else. She is given peace and reassurance in many ways by being outside and travelling.

I really look forward and hope for the possibility to rp with you guys soon! I definitely need to get my feet wet a little bit more with this character and I’m very excited at the prospect of doing it with this guild! To contact me in game, just /whisper therandra! My bnet is jupiter#12380 if I am not online :D

Ishnu dal dieb Elle/Thera!

Thank you for your interest in Silver Circle and the roleplaying community, and welcome back to the game! It's always wonderful to hear about players branching out to try something new in the game, and I sincerely hope roleplay here on Wyrmrest Accord turns out to be everything you're hoping for.

I'd like to take a moment to let you know I appreciate your candor about your schedule and your own gameplay preferences. Allow me to clarify and put your mind at ease that they are completely acceptable. None of the roleplay we do is mandatory, everything is on an opt-in basis, and it's all about getting yourself involved in the roleplay we do in your own way. What we look for are people who want to make new friends who share an interest in roleplaying night elves, people who take the initiative to keep themselves involved by communicating with the guild and its members both out-of-character and in-character. If this is something you're interested in and comfortable with, I think we could be a great place for you and your character.

We do have a roleplay event tonight, and a few others planned later in the week and into next week. They will be a good opportunity for you to test the waters and see if you enjoy our style(s) of roleplay. If you get nervous at all or would like some assistance making a hook for your character to get involved in the roleplay, please feel free to reach out to one of our members to ask for assistance. Our Guardian Members and Officers can also assist you with any questions you may have. We've all been there, and understand what it's like to be nervous when approaching a new group of people. Take your time with it, there is no pressure whatsoever. ❤️

After your first interaction with us, we can get you hooked up with our in-game (OOC) Community channel, where you can communicate with us more readily, ask questions, find roleplay or PvE or PvP partners, and get a feel for who we are as unique individuals and as a guild.

I really appreciate the reassuring response! And I’m very glad you understand! I’m happy that the guild events work on an opt in basis and aren’t mandatory, that was definitely something I was worried about when first coming back here, that gives me time to go at my own speed and develop my character at a pace that feels right! I’m definitely interested in both OOC and IC communication and developing good friendships here. I’ll try to make it to tonight’s event and if I’m not able I’ll try to make it to an event when I can as soon as possible, thank you for the patience! I’ll try to message you or a member in game to see how I can fit my character into the event fluidly if I’m able to join :D

Greetings and Salutations Therandra,

Feyawen covered most of the big things, our characters are just as busy as we are in real life, even if that real life involves raiding Queen Azshara certain days of the week! Most characters are pretty understanding about obligations away from guild events, as its pretty well assumed that those who fight for the Silver Circle are off doing good in the name of Elune.

As an ancient elf as well, who barely survived the War of the Ancients, and also participated in the later half of the War of the Satyr, I'm interested in seeing where our timelines might mesh, or totally diverge!

One of our main hangouts between events and campaigns is Lightsong in Val'sharah, where we're stationed since the fall of Darkshore. Once you get around to joining the OOC channel don't be afraid to looking around for some casual RP to get your hooks in. It's a pretty nice place to hang out.

Hope to see you around,
Kelanthos Ivyfang.

It's true, two days a week I laugh at the puny naga's attempts to take me down in raids. Long as ya are around when ya have time and jump into whatever we happen to be up to at the time then you're fine.

Feyawen also used to play the harp, before she left for training to become a priestess in Hajiri. She never kept up the skill. It would be funny to see her attempt to play again, I think.

Therandra was taught by her mother and played it for her family just as a hobby but dropped it after the events of the sundering, she’d have to reteach herself how to play at this point lol
