Irothel Stargrove
Touch of Elune
OOC: What about the kaldorei inspires you, and what is your favorite thing about them?
I think that kaldorei stand out in the fantasy genre as a unique race. There are obvious influences, but as a whole they remain one of a kind. I love their matriarchal society, their fierceness, and careful balance they maintain between harmony and action.
IC: What memory has the most impact on your character's life, and does it drive them today?
Irothel is young, and despite her youth she has lived through and witnessed some very important parts of kaldorei history.

She was one of the many evacuated civilians of Mount Hyjal during the end of the Third War, and saw the blast that destroyed the World Tree and Archimonde from afar. She was a neophyte priestess at the Temple of Elune in Val'Sharah and aided in its defense from the surprise Legion and Nightmare onslaughts, and witnessed Ysera's death and starry ascension. Finally, she survived the burning of Teldrassil, and lost many in the fire. All these things have stuck with her, fueling both her fear and resolve. Seeing the fragility of things as great and powerful as World Trees and Dragon Queens can shake even the most devout's faith. But she's also seen the great kindness and compassion that tragedy elicits from people.

Quickness
OOC: Describe your dream job or the hobbies you most enjoy and why.
I'm currently working towards becoming a history teacher!
IC: What skills can your character teach and do they have any hidden talents?
Irothel hasn't lived long enough to have mastered any skills, but she does have hobbies and a certain amount of natural talent! Her father taught her how to woodcarve, and she's been teaching herself how to knit in the past few months.

Irothel's mother and grandmother are both priestesses of Elune, and she was put into the Sisterhood at a very young age. Her success could be attributed to either the early access and privilege that comes from being from a family of successful priestesses or a potentially close connection to Mother Moon. (AKA it's something I'm interested in seeing develop in RP and don't want to make any premeditated decisions quite yet!)

Nature Resistance
OOC: What personal strengths and weaknesses do you want to develop as a writer?
Almost my whole creative writing background comes from MMO RP! I started about eight years ago and has resulted in me being good at the natural /e shorthand needed for in game RP and a little rusty at longhand/para things.

IC: Name one thing you love about your character, and one thing you'd like to improve for them.
I usually play older jaded characters, so I took making Irothel as an opportunity to not only explore the realities of being a young adult in a wartorn world like Azeroth but also of being a youth in a society of (until recently) immortals. Despite a very conservative upbringing, it still makes Irothel open to things like mages, demon hunters, and death knights. Some might make her uncomfortable or wary, but she's not aggressive on sight! It also means she's very malleable and open to the advice and influence of her elders.

Wisp Spirit
OOC: Describe your hopes and expectations for your ideal roleplay community.
I don't think I have any zany or grand expectations from any roleplay community: I like clear communication, maturity, good senses of humor, creativity, and open minds.

IC: Is your character spiritual, and what made them that way?
She sure is! Irothel has been deeply religious her whole life for previously explained reasons. She recently graduated from neophyte to a junior acolyte! That being said, the tragedies that have befallen the kaldorei in the past months and the suffering she's experienced and witnessed has shaken her faith. She can't bear the idea of turning from Elune, but she can't bear the pain and loss she's experienced and simply "forgive", either.

Shadowmeld
OOC: Are you an introvert or extrovert, and what does your ideal get together consist of?
I'm an introvert that definitely prefers events without too many people, but that comes more from the experience of witnessing large scale events that get cluttered and messy. That sort of thing goes with the territory, though. I'm always open to trying new things, and one of the things that has made me interested in this guild is the member limit!

IC: Does your character like going on adventures or would they prefer to stay home and relax, why?
Irothel likes a mix of both! She grew up relatively sheltered. She traveled the normal amount expected from a training priestess, but she never even had been to the Eastern Kingdoms until Legion! She likes seeing and doing new things, and she's not afraid of combat. But she also likes staying home to knit and spend time with friends.

Hello and welcome to the Silver Circle!

Your priestess sounds like a younger Elliistra. I think the two would get along quite well.

We have Council Glade tonight at 8:45 server, you're welcome to come to that. We will also have casual events for the next few weeks since we finished a campaign, so keep an eye out for those.

I look forward to having Elliistra meet Irothel!

I think this is fantastic. There's nothing better than letting a character grow in an organic setting in roleplay. Did you have expectations about how this area of growth might work for Irothel? A mentor perhaps? Or is she the sort to make her own scholarly pursuits?

Because we are an active and heavy roleplay guild, and often host some wider events for the Wyrmrest Accord community as a whole, there are occasions where our events can have 20+ participants. Over the last few months, we have taken great strides to split up participants for our bigger campaign events. Events that used to consist of 20+ people often now consist of 2-3 groups with separate DMs for ease of reading and to make the content more intimate and interactive for everyone involved.

That said, I do want to recommend looking into a roleplay addon called Listener. This is a chat filter addon that helps you keep track of people posting around you with a simple click or even by hovering over the character(s) in question. It will also alert you when your own character(s) are mentioned in an /emote, /say, or /raid post.

Iro is always eager to meet new people! Especially fellow priestesses! It's been very strange spending time in human cities where she is no longer part of the religious majority. It's a bit of a culture shock!

Irothel is in need of a new mentor! The one she has had since childhood chose to stay with the remaining Teldrassil civilians when the portals closed.

She's never been super captivated by the scholarly aspects of the Sisterhood. She prefers direct action like charity and combat. That's mostly because nothing academic pertaining to the Goddess has ever caught her attention. That could change in the future! She really really loves moonkin.

Oooh! That sounds perfect! I'll definitely download that.

I'll definitely be trying my best to attend tonight's event! And I'll be doing my best to keep up with upcoming events open to the public. :3 I am very excited.

Also boy howdy I wish there was a preview option for these posts. My attempts at formatting are mostly hail Marys. I'm sorry if this comes out as an html mess!

The Lunar Festival event was wonderful! Irothel winning second place in the trivia contest made her night. 😊
